Aiming for a bumper run in May 

Maraba Prince won on his debut in a Wincanton bumper then ran in the listed bumper at Cheltenham on New Years day. 

He stuck on well to the task to finish 7 of of 16. 

We will target another bumper in May, after a freshen up and hope to get a run in over hurdles after that. 

We should have some great days out with this fella, he is still a young horse with plenty of improvement likely to come.

He’s by the up-and-coming NH stallion Postponed, who is starting to make a name for himself in the jumping sphere with such as Familiar Dreams and Zestful already advertising his prowess. 

Although his dam’s produce has been mainly successful on the flat, he has the size, scope and athleticism to be successful over both hurdles and ultimately fences. 

An all-in fee to include buy in and training until 1 June 2025 is £7145

Monthly costs of £230 from 1 June 2025.

Crest Racing XII is delighted to be offering Golden Prince for syndication in twelfth shares.

He’s a 4YO gelding in training with Christian Williams, in his idyllic yard set by the beach and dunes at Ogmore-on-Sea.

He was third in his only run in an Irish point-to-point on 9 February, ridden by his owner/trainer’s son, beaten 6 lengths. 

The winner has been subsequently sold for £155,000 and the second for £105,000. Christian bought him privately before his victors were sold. 

He’ll be turned out to grass for a summer break, returning into training in July to be prepared for a bumper/maiden hurdle in November.

We see him as a future three-mile chaser and Christian has had a huge amount of success in this sphere with the likes of Kitty’s Light, Cap du Nord, Win My Wings and Potters Corner

The cost for a one twelfth share is £3750 with monthly payments of £185 from 1 July 2025 to cover all estimated costs, including training fees, vets, jockey. travel, entries etc.

Phoenix of Spain needs no introduction as a sire. 

His progeny have been carrying all before them this season, including Haatem, who was placed in two 2000 Guineas and has won £429k.
 

As a racehorse he won the Acomb Stakes as a 2YO and went on to win the Irish 2000 Guineas.
 

The dam Chicita Banana, also won as a 2YO and has produced six winners from eight runners, including the listed-placed Banana Split.
 

Other close relatives of hers are Palace Pier (sire and champion 3YO colt in Europe in 2020), Bonfire (Dante Stakes winner) and Castle Way (winner of Newmarket Stakes & Bahrain Trophy Stakes).

He is in training with Jack Channon at his historic yard in West Ilsley.
